SWEETGRASS: THE PASS PARTNERSHIP
The quality of a final batch of hash rosin is dependent on the relationship between grower and extractor. That’s why we reached out to one of the best hash makers in Massachusetts to help us develop our Jersey Juice x Original Diesel flower into some beautiful, potent, and fragrant hash rosin.
Based in Lee, MA, just 30 minutes from The Pass, Sweetgrass Botanicals has been making a serious name for itself in the hash-making world. Sweetgrass has two consecutive 1st place finishes in the NECANN competition for best solventless concentrates in 2024 and 2025. Needless to say, we felt confident handing over our Berkshire-grown flower to them.
Using precise practices and keeping a keen eye on every step of the process, Sweetgrass is able to express the best qualities of each individual plant. They don’t have some magical, proprietary process that makes their hash quality; they simply take their passion for making it, combined with a meticulous eye for data, and then they follow each and every step of the process as precisely as possible.
There are no shortcuts at Sweetgrass, but even they will tell you that the rosin can only be as good as the flower it’s coming from. That’s why we chose a select batch of The Pass Jersey Juice x Original Diesel for this collaboration. In addition to its reputation as a good washer — yielding many trichomes to then be turned into rosin — its old school funk combined with sweet hints of fruit gives it a delectable taste and smell.
This is an arduous process, so our run of Jersey Juice x Original Diesel rosin is very limited. Additionally, our batch of that particular strain is limited as well, making this rosin drop extremely exclusive. While there will be more rosin products from The Pass in the future, once this particular batch is out, it’s out indefinitely.
